Banana Shire Community Health Nurse Child Health Services includes community health services, Indigenous health – closing the gap initiatives, chronic disease initiatives and allied health services including occupational therapy and physiotherapy.
Malanda Primary Health Centre
The primary health centre serves Malanda, Tarzali and Yungaburra. Offer a number of community health services including maternal and child health, wound care, immunisations, telehealth and some limited home visits. A women’s health nurse visits twice a year.
Banana Shire Council- Taroom Domiciliary Nursing Service
At home nursing service, transport and home maintenance delivered by Banana Shire Council. Roma and Toowoomba are major referring hospitals for the area.
Theodore Home and Community Care
